Recently I have been thrown back into the waters to quench my ever
growing thirst. So I decided to read a bit more, venture out of my
original kind of reads (Faeries and shapeshifters) I was going for maybe
more Dystrophy kind of reads but I wasn't pushed enough to go there
again.
As I wandered the lovely Barnes and Noble by my home, my
eyes were caught on a very intriguing cover, I lifted it and found
myself talking its partner, the first book of the series and heading out
to buy them without even reading what I just picked up. (For those of
you who are authors, a books cover is a must catch eye kind of deal!)
After arriving home I lounged myself on my bed and opened the first book. Game. Match. Win.
I
am addicted. It was that simple and this made me realize about my own
writings and book coverart. Now I am bursting with creative energies to finish my own writings and all thanks to A.G. Howard.
Her Splintered Series is a new twist to Alice in Wonderland that is dark and lovely. A must read for anyone out there!
Here is my review on her second book, (as I know patiently attempt to wait on her next upcoming book Ensnared) Click on the image of the wonderful book cover below.
Cheers!

Writers Dream....
A writers ink fails to paint a word upon the canvas,
alas the pen has found its way to bring forth the dreamers passing...
"Why not write what the heart feels?" asked the canvas
"My ink will not let me" replied the writer
"But you are the writer and the dreamer, the pen and ink take form when your world allows such" said the canvas
The writer silent for a moment, sits back and stares at the blank canvas.
"For there you are my dearest Canvas, I see the ink that will fill you!"
And the writer fills the canvas with ink upon ink upon ink....
a dream to reality.
